Most of us seek out coaching because something needs to shift. We need help figuring out how/what to change, and frankly finding the courage to do it. My approach involves three pillars, which create a framework flexible enough to meet you wherever you are, whether you're navigating a diagnosis like Parkinson's, have found out you're neurodiverse, or can no longer help people in the way you have been.

Pillar 1: Sit with what is
Before anything can change, we need to get honest about where we actually are and take stock. We need clarity and to face what is. Together we look at what's working, what isn't, and what this moment is asking of you. Grief often shows up too - because starting again almost always means letting go of something first.

Pillar 2: What's the reset?
Next we explore what needs to change - together. The word "change" can be very intimidating. So it's important to understand that lasting transformation isn't a willpower issue - it's about finding new patterns that fit our current situation. The nervous system is wired to resist anything new or uncertain, especially when we're stressed out. This is why we often stop after a few attempts, even when we really want the new thing we're attempting make happen. This can also look like procrastination, distraction, and overwhelm. Fortunately, our nervous systems ease when someone is with us to face the uncertain or fear of failure. That's why we need coaches.

Pillar 3: Strategize the new normal
Once we've cleared the ground and calmed the nervous system, we can build a path forward — your plan, not one size fits all. We'll build a map for starting again that fits your situation, your strengths, and your pace. Did you know that mentally rehearsing a new behavior starts to build the brain pathways that make changes feel natural and less scary? Making change less about willpower and more about working with our nervous system helps us start a new normal. This is where coaching is really powerful - we humans are wired to feel braver about hard or new things when we're not alone.
